Steinmann Aviation Pilot Psychological/Neuropsychological Evaluation
Active pilots, pilot candidates and air traffic control may be required to obtain a psychological/neuropsychological assessment as part of their Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) medical certification.
Steinmann Institute provides required psychological and neuropsychological core evaluation including the CogScreen-AE. Examination is designed to rapidly assess deficits or changes in attention, immediate and short-term memory, visual perceptual functions, sequencing functions, logical problem solving, calculation skills, reaction time, simultaneous information processing abilities, and executive functions. The purpose to examination is to evaluate potential neurocognitive or psychological deficits that may interfere with flight performance or flight training.
